- I would absolutely recommend Dave with SWF Home Inspection. He listened to the concerns of my buyers, and took his time to be very thorough. - Our Inspector Corey was not only an awesome person, but a consummate professional as well. He took the time to answer any and all questions I asked of him. In addition, Corey gave me valuable information on what to expect being a Florida homeowner i.e. what to look for, things to be concerned about, and common items that may appear to be problems but are normal for Florida homes. - Jamie was at the house when I arrived. He immediately introduced himself and explained in detail everything he was going to do. I felt very comfortable knowing he was doing the inspection. When Jamie was finished he explained all problems with house in detail. He was the decision maker. - We have had 2 homes inspected prior to pending purchase by SWF. I’m going to say that I would always choose SWF for any home inspection needs. The basic inspection is VERY thorough, more so than I imagined and helped us, along with info from the owner of the home we are buying, feel very confident with our pending purchase. The inspection additionally includes information on upkeep of certain components for the future. We couldn’t be happier with the services provided by SWF as we easily and confidently turned down the first house they inspected but, in turn, are at ease and confident with the home we will currently be purchasing. - I've had a number of home inspections over the years, but Dave with SWF is in a league by himself. He did a detailed inspection, not only found a variety of relatively small items but took the time to explain them. - After purchasing house & moving in there were 3 opened electrical outlets with exposed wires, several outlets wouldn't hold plug in, 3 drains not working, the maintenance man pulled out massive hair ball out of 1, dishwasher not attached to wall nearly falling out on me, sink faucet broken, barely able to open living room sliding glass doors, oven takes forever to preheat, stove barely works unless turn on med high, washer needed replacing which we knew but so did dryer. Cost ALOT for inspection but cost a lot more for maintenance guy to fix what inspector missed. They called me so I called them back with no response- Peggy Bode. 11/4/2019

- I would have given them a 5, however, the company is too linked in to other companies that they share data with. - Well oiled machine - from first contact with Samantha through the report from Doug everything went smoothly. Very pleasant, calm and professional. Emails and conversations very clear and concise. - I've used SWF several times and SWF always does a stellar job. Recently I had Chase do our home inspection. First he was early to the appointment. Then Chase went to work and literally inspected everything. I was impressed with how thorough Chase was. I believe Chase went above and beyond for our home. After the inspection Chase spent the time to explain and discuss every issue he had found. Chase took my credit card payment on the spot and emailed me a receipt. 5 minutes after I left I received my inspection by email with many pictures and inspection results. - As a commercial builder myself, I absolutely appreciated the timeliness and the professional approach of SWF. The inspection was thorough and brought to light a few minor issues which will now be fixed by the seller. The value of those fixes though greatly exceeded the fee we paid SWF. Tom did an excellent job, he was very knowledgeable and very thorough and did a great job of explaining things to my buyer. Tom also did something I have never seen a home inspector do. When he noticed the sliding glass door handle was loose, instead of reaching for a camera to take a picture to write it up in the report, he reached for a screwdriver and tightened it - problem solved! - Our home inspection was completed while we were states away. The inspector took pictures of every area and made clear notes of any issues he found. - I am a first time home buyer and was very nervous going through the entire process. When I was recommended to use SWF Home inspectors I knew I made the right decision the first time I called. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. I knew everything that was going to be inspected and they even informed me a couple extra services that might be required by insurance. They never tried to upsell anything and gave me time to find out what I would be required to have done. The inspection was very detail oriented and focused on everything. Even something that seemed like a minor detail I had been made aware. I trust the job that was done and feel relief to not have any surprises come up. - SWF Home Inspections did a pretty decent job, I would have given them a 5 star review but there was some confusion in the process. The report was very detailed and informative. Having said that I noticed in the report that the attic was inspected but not accessible. Since he mentioned to me he had a latter to get on our roof I was confused about why he could not get into the attic as well. This was not addressed to me during the inspection either. It also would be nice if the inspector would clarify things with me better or even discuss some off the things they don't do during inspections so that I can understand the process better and expect the job completed. For example I didn't see him check outlets for functionality, if they don't do that sort of thing I would like them to give me a list of a few things they won't be doing so I know what to expect. Other than that, I felt as if I was suppose to know things an inspector does and the standard practice of inspectors for Arizona which I read. The report seemed well done but left me confused towards the end with a lack of expectations within the process.- Jason Wagoner. 1/15/2019
- I am not a big fan of home inspection services. I am not a contractor but have extensive experience in investment property renovation. I have used other inspectors twice just because I was busy with other things and both times was very disappointed, scammed. This purchase will be our residence and needed to confirm my own findings. The realtor recommended SWF. I was present during the process. The inspector had a contractors licence (big deal I thought) and found the two concerns that I had plus a possible a/c problem. He was very thorough. My previous inspections only lasted 15 minutes. The SWF inspector was there for over an hour. While there were no major revelations I feel the cost was well worth it. - SWF Home Inspections was very thorough in their summary report of the home I had inspected. The report was excellent including photographs for easy reference throughout the house. The report was broken down into sections for each room in the house and even included recommendations for once I move in on how to improve or upgrade any issues. The report was lengthy in order to go into detail and include every part of the house, but the wording was concise and very easy to follow. The cost of the inspection was worth the value of the summary report and the thoroughness of the inspection, and was very affordable. - Mike, our inspector, was knowledgeable and thorough. We were left being uncertain of a few things like light fixtures that didn't work at the time because light bulbs weren't in them. Do they work or not? The roof required further inspection which was OK. Mike did point out a potential problem. Some electrical issues were pointed out but there was no notice of a code violation versus just a safety issue, which should, but didn't have to be fixed. Overall the inspection had a very generic feel, which I believe was intentional. I guess I understand the reason behind it. If you want a thorough inspection, then you need to have someone who is certified on that system such as electical, HVAC, etc.- John Sopko. 2/12/2018

- Our inspector was very knowledgeable and took over 4 hours inspecting the home. At the end, he gave us a 27 page report which explained the inspection in detail. Also they included a free 5 year warranty on the roof and 90 days on the plumbing since it was in such good shape! All in all, he did a very thorough job and was very professional.
